  • Your copy is EVERYTHING.
  • If you're new to the biz, don't hire a copywriter because you're still figuring out your voice and your brand.
  • Try to understand what makes you click on other people's copy. Why do these things catch your attention?
  • Add other people's copy to your swipe files – use them for ideas and starting points.
  • Email is NOT dead. Email will always be there. And you can really connect with people.
  • Intriguing story-based emails/behind the scenes is a good way to test for responses.
  • People want REAL. The nitty-gritty.
  • Try to be a little bit different than everyone else.
